One of our most recent projects involved the demolition of the foundation of a wind turbine. This type of work requires a carefully engineered approach, as wind turbine foundations are massive structures designed to withstand extreme forces over decades. From the outset, the project was approached with a strong focus on safety, precision, and circularity.
After the turbine and tower had been dismantled, the concrete foundation was exposed and systematically removed. Our specialists carried out the demolition in a controlled manner, ensuring that the surrounding environment was minimally affected. Throughout the process, close attention was paid to separating materials efficiently and responsibly.
A key aspect of this project was the reuse of materials. The resulting concrete rubble was processed and prepared for reuse within the concrete industry, allowing it to serve as a valuable secondary raw material. By giving these materials a new purpose, we significantly reduced waste and limited the need for newly extracted resources.
